You will support this PR team in the delivery of highly engaging, customer-focused PR activity for Compare the Market, maximizing our brand and customer credentials and ensuring we remain the UK\\\’s best loved price comparison site. - Support the development and delivery of impactful PR activities, ensuring CtM and its products are front of mind for customers and partners.
- Stay ahead of trends and think creatively to contribute to discussions about PR opportunities.
- Support agencies in monitoring and measurement, ensuring visibility of PR results within the business.
- Work with agencies to maximise our presence in the current news agenda, joining the conversation seamlessly and authentically.
- Understand the business and how we can support commercial delivery against our strategic objectives.
- Support the team in maintaining strong media relationships and build your own.
- Take part in the running of the “always on” press office, including reactive media queries and the out of hours rota.
- Support the planning, alignment and coordination of all PR activity, ensuring the team is well prepared.
- Prepare and/or commission copy to bring PR activity to life.
Develop an understanding of the links between PR, content and SEO to ensure activity is aligned.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience and/or qualification
- Superb communication style, both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
- Understanding of PR principles and a willingness to learn
- Good organisational skills and ability to multi-task
- Creativity and willingness to try new things
- Open-minded and collaborative
- Prepared to analyse data and ensure accuracy of content
