As a Designer at Compare the Market, you’ll play a key role in defining and delivering high-quality email design, creating work that is both beautifully crafted and built to perform. Working closely with marketing teams, you’ll translate briefs into effective, on-brand creative, balancing storytelling, usability, and technical constraints to deliver experiences that stand out in the inbox. You’ll also help evolve how we design at scale, contributing to the development of email design systems, templates, and best practices that improve consistency, speed, and quality across all communications.

Some Of The Great Things You’ll Be Doing:

  • Design and deliver visually engaging, high-performing email campaigns and templates
  • Own the end-to-end email design process, from concept and wireframes through to final build-ready assets
  • Develop and maintain the email design system in Figma, establishing standards and scalable components
  • Translate briefs into clear, effective, on-brand creative solutions
  • Collaborate closely with CRM, marketing and development teams to support implementation
  • Support A/B testing and optimisation, using performance data to refine and improve work
  • Ensure designs are responsive, accessible and optimised across devices and email clients
  • Stay up to date with email design trends, tools and best practice

What We’d Like To See From You:

  • Experience designing high-quality email and CRM creative within a marketing or digital environment
  • Strong expertise in Figma, including working with design systems and scalable templates
  • Good working knowledge of responsive email design across devices, screen sizes, and clients
  • Understanding of email marketing best practice, including accessibility and deliverability
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for email, and how designs are implemented
  • A strong eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of design craft
  • Confidence collaborating with stakeholders and presenting work clearly
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and ability to work at pace
  • A portfolio showcasing high-quality email design and measurable impact
