Your role sits at the heart of our system capability, working with the COO and technology & data leadership to bring financial discipline, commercial curiosity, and ROI focus to investment spend.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive ROI and returns focus across Tech and Data, ensuring investment decisions are linked to and grounded in clear commercial outcomes.
- Partner the COO and ELT Tech & Data leads to challenge, support and prioritise spend to deliver the best value for money.
- Build robust business cases and KPI/benefit tracking for Capability missions, balancing innovation, cost efficiency and risk.
- Drive clarity of total cost of ownership across systems, platforms and tools, highlighting opportunities for simplification or reinvestment.
- Quantify and articulate the commercial value of data, AI, automation, and data‑driven initiatives, linking technical capability to customer and financial outcomes.
- Embed ROI and KPI frameworks in delivery forums, helping Tech and Data leaders make investment decisions based on value creation.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant levels of financial, commercial and business experience in digital, tech‑driven businesses.
- Strong influencing skills to ensure that the best decisions are taken.
- Able to communicate complex information in a clear and efficient way.
- Able to speak the language of Tech and Data – can engage credibly with engineers, data scientists and delivery leads.
