This is an exciting opportunity to join Company3's finishing department based at Chancery Lane, London, as a Finishing Editor, Jr. Company 3 works on many high-end UK and international productions, providing clients with a full range of post-production services including Grade, Online, Sound and VFX.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with colleagues in the Long Form Picture Finishing Department to handle conform and online using Flame, Resolve and Baselight.
- Work includes 2D visual effects, compositing, beauty fixes, title compositing, credit roller creation, re-timing, and other optical work.
- Maintain and contribute to the development of workflows by keeping up with current trends and finishing techniques.
- Project, metadata and media management, efficient use of facilities and SAN storage, accurate tracking of project status, archiving, etc.
- Maintaining best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
Skills
- Editorial conform experience using Flame, Resolve and Baselight.
- Ability to wrangle EDLs.
- Understanding of editing software, VFX applications and data-centric practices.
- Knowledge of 2D compositing skills using tools such as Flame, Nuke or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Detail-oriented problem solver, capable of working well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to interpret and demonstrate a solid understanding of creative editorial instructions and the latest workflow trends with filmmaking.
- Flexible to work around customer and studio needs and changing delivery schedules.
- Strong interpersonal skills to help maintain a collaborative and resourceful working environment.

Requirements/Background
- Experience of Conform process within a post-production facility.
- Production & Business Systems Experience.
- Autodesk Flame.
- Davinci Resolve.
- Baselight.
- Unix/command line.
- Microsoft Office – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word.
- Proficient with web applications and portals for job management.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week; a flexible approach to working hours is required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
