Company Shop Group (CSG), part of the Biffa Group, is on the lookout for passionate, self-starting individuals to join an experienced marketing team on a hybrid basis, based 3 days a week at their offices in Tankersley, Barnsley.

Your Role
As Employee Communications Manager for CSG, you’ll be responsible for producing and maintaining all communications for internal CSG employees, whether that’s head office colleagues, stores and operations. You’ll ensure colleagues across the business are up-to-date, engaged and proud to work at CSG through exciting, timely communications across multiple platforms. You’ll provide new ideas for engaging with colleagues, manage multiple projects, and be reactive. You’ll need to have excellent relationship-building skills, be aware of all activities in the business, and collaborate with the Biffa employee communications team. You’ll have an eye for detail and be able to create and manage campaigns designed to engage and inform internal colleagues.
You’ll execute the employee communications end-to-end, from creation and design (with design team support), copy and assessing results for future learnings, as well as project-managing internal events such as conferences. You’ll have autonomy to propose new ideas for methods and styles of communications that get the best engagement from colleagues across the business.
Requirements
- Internal communications experience and/or marketing experience
- Proficient within Microsoft Office – email platform/CRM system experience ideal, but not essential
- Event management is ideal but not essential

Location and Hours
Location: Based at our Head Office in Tankersley, S75 3DH (with occasional travel across our retail, community, and operational estate).
Hours: 40 hours per week – Hybrid working
