Overview
Exciting Opportunity at our New Community Shop opening in Bransholme, Hull. This role leads the delivery of Community Hub programmes and community-based initiatives that respond to local needs. You will work with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating leadership, initiative, problem solving, and flexibility to respond to unexpected demand.

Role and responsibilities
This position has responsibility for the delivery of Community Hub\’s programmes and community-based initiatives that align with community needs. You will need to have the potential to solve community-based problems, be ready to create positive changes, and to challenge concepts, assumptions and practices. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating leadership, initiative, problem solving and flexibility to respond to unexpected demand.
Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Operational
- Ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and practices are upheld
- Lead and deliver Community Hub\’s Social Impact and Development services including promotion and support of communities through development and engagement initiatives
- Deliver membership drives to broaden Community Hub\’s Social Impact
- Deliver in-house training and development programmes
- Deliver effective social programmes with housing providers and across not‑for‑profit, social enterprise, public and private sectors to maximise joint working opportunities
- Implement, data gather and formulate bespoke projects including project design, budgeting, resource management and knowledge transfer with the Regional Social Impact & Development Manager
- Build understanding within the social sector and beyond to develop social impact offerings and collaborate with the Social Impact & Development department
- Deliver and develop Membership practices to ensure access and promotion for service users to Community Shop

- Professional qualification in community or social science
