Location: Kew Gardens, Richmond, TW9 3AB
Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: 0 hour contract, Pre rotated rota
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise catering operations during service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and high standards at all times.
- Motivate, support, and coach team members to deliver efficient, friendly, and professional service.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and communicate daily priorities, promotions, and operational updates.
- Monitor service quality, resolve customer queries or complaints, and escalate issues where required.
- Ensure all catering areas are fully stocked, clean, presentable, and service-ready.
- Drive sales through effective product knowledge, customer engagement, and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain strong communication between front and back of house teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support stock control, minimise waste, and assist with achieving financial targets.
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Complete operational checks, cleaning schedules, and compliance records to maintain audit-ready standards.
- Act as a role model, promoting a positive team culture and delivering memorable visitor experiences at Kew Gardens.
