Salary: £45,000 per annum

Work Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 - flexible with weekends/evenings

About this role: Based at the Southbank Centre, this role is responsible for overseeing several Level 2 outlets, including the Bar, Café and outdoor terrace. You will supervise a team of 20-30 casual team members, four Supervisors and a Deputy General Manager, while driving weekly revenues of around £50,000 in winter and exceeding £100,000 during the summer period. The position calls for solid bar management experience, ideally gained within premium bars or pubs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing Multiple units: the Bar, the Café plus the terrace outside on Level 2 at Southbank Centre.
  • Leading a team of 20-30 casual staff, four Supervisors, and a Deputy General Manager.
  • Managing weekly turnover of £50,000 during winter and over £100,000 during summer.
  • Demonstrating strong bar management experience (essential).
  • Having a background in premium bars and pubs (preferred).
  • Taking a flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Remaining calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills.
  • Being adaptable with strong communication skills.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, health & safety, food hygiene, and brand standards.
