Location: Field based roles, primarily based at EC2Y 5JU with regular travel to sites and flexibility to work one day a week from home
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum basic plus performance based based and commission
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday – 40 hours per week
About the role:
The Head of Livery Sales is responsible for driving commercial performance across Plaisterers’ Hall and four other Livery Halls within the Company of Cooks portfolio. This role leads the strategic direction of venue sales, delivering exceptional client experiences while exceeding revenue, profitability, and brand growth targets.
The position requires a commercially astute, inspirational leader who can motivate high-performing sales teams, strengthen partnerships, and position eve and the Livery Halls as leading destinations within the events and hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets across room hire, food & beverage, and ancillary services.
Team Leadership: Develop, motivate, and lead a results-driven sales team of 4 direct reports that consistently delivers high standards and exceeds KPIs.
Strategic Planning: Design and execute the annual strategic sales and marketing plan in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to maximise opportunities and brand value.
Brand Development: Enhance the eve and Company of Cooks brand reputation through innovation, market insight, and exceptional customer experience.
Profitability: Identify and implement strategies to improve revenue streams and cost efficiencies across all venues.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in event venue or hospitality sales leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Evidence experience in managing and developing successful sales teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all levels.
- Deep understanding of the UK events and venue marketplace, particularly Livery Halls or heritage venues.
- Experience in developing and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working within multi-site hospitality or contract catering environments.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM systems, and data-led sales approaches.
- Established network within the London events industry
