We are excited to be recruiting for a Sales Executive based at Royal Academy of Engineering.
Location: SW1Y 5DG
Salary: £31,988 per annum
Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with the entire sales and referrals process, including managing enquiries and converting business
- Be the client contact from the enquiry stage, through to the handover of the event to the operations team
- Communicating with colleagues across the entire venue group to brief new enquiries and refer effectively
- Representing the venue and handling enquiries with direct corporate and private clients from different industries and event agencies
- Assisting with planned showcase events and familiarisation trips throughout the year
- Managing the referrals tracker and CRM system, every week following up enquiries and supporting with weekly and monthly reporting
- Accurate business reports and understanding of where we can increase revenue
- Identify new business opportunities via industry research and networking
- Proactively growing and developing relationships with prospective and existing key accounts
- Ensure all marketing and sales collateral is in line with the venue's sales strategy
- Create quality proposals for our clients - corporate, private and social
- Attend organised events to engage with clients. E.g.: open days, exhibitions, displays etc
- Financial responsibility for your events, working closely with finance to invoice clients pre- and post-event
- Coordinating events
