This role is ideal for someone with a hospitality and operational background who enjoys being hands-on and leading teams on the ground. You will be responsible for the operational delivery of a wide range of events, including conferences, receptions, gala dinners, award ceremonies, and private functions. As a Casual Event Operations Supervisor, you will oversee event set-ups, supervise front-of-house teams, and act as a key point of contact during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational delivery of events across Southbank Centre's spaces.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house teams during events.
  • Manage event set-ups and ensure venues are prepared to the required standard.
  • Act as the main operational point of contact during events.
  • Allocate duties and provide guidance to event staff.
  • Monitor service standards and ensure an excellent guest experience.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and venue procedures are followed.
  • Work closely with event planners, catering teams, and venue stakeholders.
