The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business for Company Mark, conducting product demonstrations, converting prospects into paying customers, onboarding new clients, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential UK businesses and decision-makers
- Generate new leads through networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email, calls and local business meetings
- Schedule and conduct online and offline meetings
- Understand the prospect's business requirements and recommend the right Company Mark solution
- Conduct professional Company Mark product demos
- Explain features, benefits, pricing and ROI to prospects
- Prepare quotations/proposals and negotiate commercial terms
- Follow up with prospects and close sales
- Coordinate and collect customer payments
- Complete the client onboarding process
- Coordinate with the technical/support team for implementation
- Ensure customers understand and actively use the platform
- Maintain regular communication with clients
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve initial issues
- Proactively work on client retention and renewals
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline and follow-up schedules
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales, revenue and retention targets
