Responsibilities
- Execute Test Cases – manually or automatically execute test cases to identify bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in software applications, ensuring they meet quality standards before release.
- Document and Report Defects – log and track software issues using bug-tracking tools, clearly documenting the steps to reproduce each defect and providing detailed reports to the development team for resolution.
- Participate in Test Planning and Design – assist senior QA analysts in reviewing software requirements and designing test plans, test scenarios, and test data to ensure comprehensive coverage of all system functionalities.
Qualifications
- Matric – Mathematics and English – Minimum Level C
- Qualification – BSc Computer Science, Degree of Diploma in IT or equivalent
- Must have completed programming as part of tertiary studies.
