Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 12 months, with potential to extend

Working hours: 40 hours per week. This role follows UK business hours (typically 9:00–17:30 UK time), which is approximately 11:00–19:30 South Africa time depending on daylight savings.

We are seeking a Web Publishing Lead, Digital Marketing & Automation to work with our client in the global financial markets infrastructure and data industry, driving the day-to-day scheduling, prioritisation, and delivery of updates across strategic marketing websites. This role will play a critical part in supporting key business, marketing, communications, and brand priorities to drive revenue and meet regulatory obligations. The successful candidate will work closely with business, marketing, and digital teams to assess value, define scope, manage timelines, and ensure resources are focused where they deliver the greatest impact.

What you will do:

  • Manage day-to-day resource scheduling, prioritisation, and delivery of website updates aligned to business and marketing objectives
  • Engage with business and marketing stakeholders to assess request priority, value, and impact
  • Collaborate with web publishing and digital strategy teams to evaluate level of effort and resource availability
  • Define scope, timelines, and delivery plans for digital publishing projects
  • Make prioritisation decisions when competing demands require trade-offs
  • Develop strong understanding of business, marketing, and digital transformation plans to align execution with strategic goals
  • Oversee end-to-end content management processes from ideation through to production
  • Analyse performance data to evaluate outcomes and identify issues and opportunities
  • Communicate insights, risks, and priorities clearly to digital teams and senior stakeholders
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining alignment with business priorities
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role prioritising and managing digital projects across a global team
  • Strong ability to assess project size, level of effort, and realistic delivery timelines
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end content management processes
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate performance and articulate insights
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication and influencing skills within an international organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships and negotiate positive outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Knowledge of the Financial Markets industry is advantageous
  • Experience with enterprise-level content management systems such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is strongly preferred
  • Experience managing multi-language B2B websites is advantageous
  • Experience conducting competitor research to inform decision-making is advantageous
  • Exposure to working with information architecture and user experience teams is advantageous
