Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an Automation Test Lead to design, implement, and evolve automation testing strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals. This role acts as a subject matter expert in automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring quality is embedded across the software development lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, analysts, and architects. The position requires strong stakeholder management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to align testing efforts with broader business objectives.
What you will do:
- Design and implement effective automation test strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals.
- Create and adapt automation frameworks to support evolving project needs.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution and optimization of automation testing practices.
- Align testing efforts with business objectives through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
- Support functional and automation testing across web, API platforms, and ERP systems such as SAP S4/Hana.
- Utilize test management tools such as Jira to track and manage testing activities.
Qualifications:
- Expert-level experience with Tricentis Tosca automation tooling.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or C#.
- Experience working with Playwright.
- Hands-on experience in functional and automation testing across web, API, and ERP platforms.
- Familiarity with test management tools such as Jira.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Experience in continuous testing and test optimization practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing with business objectives.
- SC clearance with dual passport, one being UK.
- Willingness to undergo additional vetting as required.
