At Company Bakery, we take pride in crafting exceptional sourdough using traditional techniques and the finest sustainable ingredients. Our mission is to deliver freshly baked sourdough and pastries throughout the city, 7 days a week. We are a fast growing business and proudly deliver bread, pastries and cakes to over 200 businesses and 300 residents throughout Edinburgh, Lothian, Glasgow, Perthshire and the Scottish Borders.

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and skilledPastry Bakerto join our expanding team. This is a hands-on, full-time role working in our dedicated pastry department. You’ll be involved in the entire pastry-making process, including:

  • Mixing, laminating, shaping and baking
  • Producing seasonal specials for markets and wholesale

You’ll be part of a supportive, enthusiastic team that values learning, collaboration, and craft. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a fast-paced and dynamic bakery environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • A minimum of12 months’ experiencein a commercial bakery, restaurant, or similar setting (essential)
  • Confidence working in a busy kitchen and meeting production deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • A strong eye for detail and passion for producing beautiful, consistent products
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices, including allergen and cross-contamination protocols
  • A team player with a willingness to learn and adapt

  • The pastry section operates between4am – 10pm, with10-hour shifts
