About the role

Pay rate: £15 per hour

Location: Southend on Sea

We are looking for an individual who is fully flexible and able to work a minimum of 4 hours a day. We know how hard it can be when the people you love most can’t be nearby, that’s why we are looking for like-minded people to bring comfort, connection, and support to our clients. To provide friendly conversation, emotional support, help with daily activities, and a warm presence that feels like family, whether it’s sharing stories, going for a walk, enjoying a favourite hobby, or simply spending quality time together.

Responsibilities:

  • Personal care - Assisting with showering, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and morning and evening routines
  • Running errands and transportation
  • Health and Medication - Prompting or administering medication, managing prescriptions, and monitoring health conditions
  • Nutrition and Diet - Planning and preparing meals
  • Light housekeeping
  • One to One care
  • Easing daily routines such as meals, activities and rest
  • Social and Lifestyle support - Providing companionship to combat loneliness, accompanying to appointments, and assisting with shopping or errands
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the person
