As our Senior/Lead Game Designer, you’ll be a major part of the creative process for our client’s multiplayer project from concept to release, setting the standard for gameplay, systems, and world-building. You’ll collaborate with design, art, and engineering to deliver immersive, social gaming experiences, leveraging your Unreal Engine expertise to bring the vision to life through hands-on contributions.
Responsibilities- Be a part of the creative vision for a multiplayer experience that combines innovative gameplay, multiplayer mechanics, and combat systems.
- Prototyping, troubleshooting, and optimizing assets for high-performance multiplayer environments in Unreal Engine.
- Work closely with design and engineering teams to develop unique multiplayer features and mechanics, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
- Oversee the creation of environments and character designs that support diverse playstyles and foster compelling social interactions.
- Collaborate with production teams to define project milestones, timelines, and key deliverables for a live multiplayer environment.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on creative goals and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications- 4+ years of experience in game development with a strong focus on multiplayer games, including a proven track record in creative leadership on multiplayer titles.
- Prior experience in leading a team as a game designer.
- Experience shipping games on different platforms (e.g., console).
- Expertise in multiplayer game design principles, including co-op mechanics, matchmaking, progression systems, and combat design.
- Excellent communication skills, able to unify vision across design, art, and technical teams.
- Experience working with systems/economy balancing.
