At Vets for Pets Leeds Road Huddersfield we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team. With a diverse caseload that includes cats, dogs and small animals as well as specialised orthopaedic cases, every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. About the role

This is a full‑time role working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am-6.30pm. However, we are open to considering part‑time hours, so if you have any specific requirements, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We understand the importance of a good work‑life balance and can therefore be flexible to as and when these are worked and will be discussed at interview.

A day in the life of an RVN at our practice is both rewarding and diverse where we see a variety of patients and their owners and we ensure a smooth transition into our care. We would like you to utilise your skills in both consults and minor surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will assist our skilled surgeons in a variety of procedures, ranging from routine surgeries to advanced orthopaedic surgeries, ensuring each patient receives the highest standard of care.

At our practice, tasks are shared equally amongst our dedicated nursing team, with daily organisation to ensure efficiency and support for one another. We prioritise the well‑being of our team members, with a qualified mental health first aider on staff to provide support when needed.
