Are you looking for a new Vet role with a competitive salary of up to £75,000 (DOE, FTE), excellent benefits, and opportunities for career growth? Join our dynamic team and take the next step in your career!

You will enjoy our recently refurbished waiting area and consult rooms and be part of our growth plan with our planned extension. You will bring experience and skills to the team and enjoy supporting those with less experience. This role is ideally for full time but we can consider full or part time between 20 – 40 hours. We are a dynamic stable team who support each other to reach our veterinary career aspirations.

You will join a strong clinical team with a diverse range of interests including surgery and internal medicine. This role would be perfect for someone that has a surgical bias. You will be supported with CPD and certificates. We have 20 minute appointments for sick pets, initial vaccinations, and boosters! No OOH, Sundays or Bank holidays. Saturdays are worked on a 1 in 4 basis and only for the morning (9am to 1pm) with some occasional sole charge.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join our practice in Cannock. Whether you are an experienced surgeon or in your first few years of graduated practice, this is your chance to expand your skills in a supportive environment. Our practice is owned and run locally by Sue, and an experienced team of 3 vets with a diverse range of surgical and internal medicine expertise ranging from 3 to 10 years qualified experience. There are also 3 RVNs, 1 SVN (2nd year) and a reception team of 5 to support you in achieving your role.

The ideal candidate will be a down-to-earth team player looking to provide the very best veterinary care to our loyal clients. We are passionate about creating a fun and inclusive work environment and want any new team members to have the same ethos. You will be fully supported by a fantastic Nurse team who run their own clinics to keep you free to work up your cases.

Our case load is varied from neutering and dentistry to soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. Sick pet, initial vaccination courses and boosters have 20-minute appointments so there's time to examine your patient and write up any notes. Call time is allocated each day on the diary for you to report results and catch up with your clients. If you enjoy theatre work, we see a mix of cases each week including routine surgery, orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. We run 20-minute consults and protect your lunch break so you always get to eat and relax.

This is ideally for a full time position of 40 hours per week but we know this doesn’t suit everyone so part time can be considered. We can also be flexible to accommodate a 4 or 5 day week. Weekends are Saturday mornings until 1pm and worked on a 1 in 4 basis with no OOH, Sundays or Bank holidays giving you a great work life balance.
