We are looking for a dedicated and committed Senior Intelligence Manager who can work independently but is also great as part of a team; working together to identify and tackle emerging issues. We’re going through an exciting change at Companies House as our new intelligence and law enforcement powers are being introduced.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the intelligence function for your teams and wider intelligence threat pods – providing leadership, governance and ensuring professional development.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery against the vision, objectives and organisational plans for the intelligence threat pods.
  • Ensure excellent standards are in place for the intelligence threat pods, to drive innovation and best practice.
  • Provide senior advice and support for the development of your intelligence functions. Work in partnership with your counterpart Senior Intelligence Managers, to deliver an effective and professional intelligence function.
  • Have strong communication skills, in both verbal and written communication.
  • Regular travel required as appropriate to office locations and key stakeholders.
  • Be an active member of the Intelligence Senior Leadership Team.
  • Line Management responsibility for a minimum of 2 Band Ds, including management and development responsibility for an intelligence embed as required.

Person specification

We are looking for a Senior Intelligence Manager with experience of:

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining processes to run core intelligence functions.
  • Providing senior oversight to support teams to make, identify and manage threats and routes to resolution.
  • Leadership and line management and/or knowledge of the principles of good line management.
  • Delivering high quality intelligence products and services that identify intelligence gaps, make recommendations and influence decision making.
  • The ability to develop effective working relationships and engage with staff and a range of stakeholders at all levels to achieve the desired outcomes.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate leading teams through significant organisational change.

And with:

  • An understanding of the intelligence cycle and the role of intelligence in the investigative process.
  • Knowledge of the principles of the National Intelligence Model.
  • Strategic and operational experience in a regulatory or law enforcement agency environment.

To be eligible for this role you also need to meet our Nationality requirements which are outlined below and also successful candidates must meet the security requirements for Security Clearance (SC) before they can be appointed. To gain (SC) clearance you will need to have been a UK resident for a minimum of 3 years out of the last 5 years.

Companies House also cannot offer Visa sponsorship to candidates through this campaign.
