We are looking for a Business Manager to join our Digital and Technology Directorate, offering a valuable opportunity to gain a front-row view of how digital services are designed and delivered to support our business and customers.
At the heart of the Directorate, you will support the Digital Senior Leadership Team (D-SLT), working across teams to coordinate priorities, enable delivery of strategic objectives, and ensure the smooth running of key activities. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, helping to drive collaboration, maintain momentum, and make a visible contribution to the continued success and growth of Companies House.

Job description
- Provide strong administrative support across the Directorate including to the Director and D-SLT
- Draft and publish effective communications and assets to the Directorate, including bulletins, PowerPoint presentations and SharePoint content
- Line manage the Director of Digital & Technology's Personal Assistant, supporting their work schedules, performance, development and wellbeing
- Manage multiple communication channels in Teams and Slack
- Manage the new starter processes within the Directorate
- Work with budget and financial controls, including preparing Purchase Requisitions and processing of invoices
- Support the tracking and monitoring of risks, documenting actions required and ensure files are kept up to date
- Actively participate in the People Survey Engagement Group to develop and progress initiatives
- Coordinate with stakeholders at all levels of the Directorate and the Learning and Talent team to ensure learning is organised and delivered efficiently and effectively
- Manage the Learning Needs Analysis process within the Directorate to capture learning requirements across this highly technical profession, ensuring compliance levels are met for the business
- Effectively communicate learning and development opportunities to the Directorate
- Collaborate with the Senior Leaders and Directorate PA to plan meetings and coordinate agendas including preparation of meeting papers
- Facilitate Directorate-wide meetings
- Undertake minute taking as required
- Work across the Business Manager function to collectively manage the flow of information to and from the leadership team
- Act as point-of-contact for the Digital & Technology Directorate with Finance and Learning & Talent
