We invite applications for the temporary position of:
- 1.0 FTE Grade 8/9 Teacher: Math, Science, French, Careers, Exploratory
Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach French (not required).
Collaborative team-teaching model supporting a combined Grade 8/9 cohort alongside one other teacher. Cumberland Community School is true to its namesake: a K-9 student-centred learning environment with strong links to local community partners and programs, such as the Cumberland Community Schools Society and the Cumberland Community Forest Society.
We are looking for educators who want to be part of a positive, progressive, and innovative team with a focus to serve students, families, and the community. CCS employs a collaborative, team-teaching approach to the education of its middle years students in grades 7, 8, 9, and teachers with a variety of teachable areas as well as shareable passions and interests are encouraged to apply.

Our educators use and develop best practices through meaningful and purposeful collaboration and inquiry.
