Our client is at the forefront of fibre connectivity in London, offering a wider range of internet and managed services to businesses across the capital. They are seeking a mid-market Direct Sales Executive to drive new business over the phone, email, digital channels and in person. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for independently driving your own activities with support from your manager. Collaboration with key stakeholders across the business, including Marketing and the Installation Team, will be essential.

To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in developing new business. Your experience and communication skills will be crucial in building and nurturing relationships with customers, from initial contact to closing the sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise a variety of different sales activities, including cold calling, emailing, walk-ins, and networking, to engage potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads and understand client needs to tailor value propositions effectively.
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and proposals via virtual meetings and in person.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to execute targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s offerings, pricing structures, and market trends.
  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs and revenue targets.

The Right Candidate:

  • Sales experience, working in the Telecoms or ISP or MSP businesses.
  • Strong work ethic with passion for new business sales.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience operating autonomously coupled with a sense of ownership, urgency and drive.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Results-driven with a focus on working towards and meeting all KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced and agile B2B sales environment.
