This is a senior product marketing opportunity that sits right at the heart of a major commercial and marketing transformation. If you’re energised by building capability, shaping strategy, and elevating product marketing across a complex portfolio, this one is worth a look.
The Role
We’re hiring a VP of Product Marketing to lead product positioning, value propositions, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy across a portfolio of large-scale events and experiential products.
This is a role for someone who loves to build frameworks, standards, best practice, and a community of product marketers who can deliver consistently and at scale. You’ll be the person who defines what “great” looks like and helps embed it across the organisation.
Why This Role Matters
The organisation is modernising how it approaches marketing, customer insight, and product strategy. Product marketing is a critical missing capability today and this role will be the one to establish it.
You’ll shape:
- How event propositions are defined
- How attendee value is articulated
- How pricing and packaging drive revenue
- How customer insight informs decisions
- How teams go to market with clarity and consistency
It’s a rare chance to build a discipline almost from the ground up, with strong executive sponsorship and a clear mandate for change.
What You’ll Lead
- Developing product marketing strategy for paid attendee growth
- Creating compelling value propositions and pricing/packaging models
- Using audience insight and market intelligence to refine propositions
- Optimising the full attendee journey with commercial and marketing teams
- Leading integrated GTM campaigns
- Establishing KPIs and improving funnel performance
- Partnering with sales on group bookings, VIPs, and sales enablement
- Coaching and guiding product marketers across multiple portfolios
What Success Looks Like
Within 6–12 months, success means:
- Clear, scalable product marketing frameworks in place
- Strong propositions, packages, and sales enablement for flagship events
- Improved conversion across the attendee funnel
- A growing community of capable product marketers
- Tangible uplift in paid attendee revenue
Who Thrives Here
This role suits someone who:
- Has deep product marketing experience (events or experiential products ideal, but not essential)
- Loves building structure in ambiguous environments
- Is commercially sharp and customer-obsessed
- Can influence senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity
- Has led transformation or capability-building before
- Balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution when needed
Location & Travel
- Hybrid: 3 days/week in the London office
- Regular travel to the US (typically one week every 4–5 weeks)
