Our client operates in the lone and at risk worker sectors across the UK. They are expanding through direct sales and via partner sales for their range of products and services. Great company to work for with 5 years of revenue and customer growth. Salary £45k to £50k plus commission (uncapped) and excellent benefits. Role type: Permanent. Location: Surrey.

The Channel Sales Executive is responsible for managing and developing strategic relationships with channel partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion. This role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual who can build strong partnerships, execute joint business plans, and ensure partner success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with resellers and strategic partners.
  • Sales Growth: Drive indirect sales through channel partners by developing joint go-to-market strategies and achieving MRR targets.
  • Business Development: Identify and onboard new partners to expand market reach.
  • Enablement & Training: Provide partners with product knowledge, sales tools, and training to maximize performance.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor partner performance, analyse sales data, and implement improvement plans.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop co-branded campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Contract & Compliance: Ensure all partner agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular performance reports to management.
  • Lead on tenders and support partners with their bids and tenders.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Proven experience in channel sales and business development within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven negotiation skills to enable successful contractual agreements and pricing alignment with partners.
  • Proven track record in working effectively with cross-functional teams including operations and finance.
  • Ambitious with drive and determination to succeed with evidence of target delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
