Reporting To: F&B Manager / Head Chef
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall responsibility and supervision of all F&B areas such as Room Service, Mini Bar, Meeting and Event spaces, working alongside the F&B head of department.
- Oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring smooth service, quality standards, and operational efficiency in restaurants, room service, and event spaces.
- Supervise and help develop the service team in all areas and consistently provide and develop efficient and enthusiastic service.
- Ensure that all work equipment is in good working order and liaise with other departments for maintenance and repair if necessary.
- Ensure that all areas are kept correctly with regards to storage and cleanliness at all times.
- In the absence of the Manager, keep accurate account on daily transactions (i.e. bills, reconciliation, etc.), and ensure all guests accounts are presented according to the Hotel standards.
- Ensure that all stock levels are kept and follow the Hotel purchasing and departmental requisition procedures.
- Assisting in controlling all chinaware, hollowware, and cutlery.
- Attend the F&B Monthly meeting, daily briefings and any other meetings as required.
- Assist in managing and planning the F&B staff schedules to ensure smooth operations during high and low occupancy.
- Ensure that the team motivation is consistently at a high level.
- Ensure maximum guest satisfaction in order to increase sales by promoting repeat business.
- Make sure that information relevant to employees is released and passed down to the lowest level possible.
- Ensure that all F&B areas comply with health and safety regulations, including food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in F&B operation, in hotel setting.
- Possess an understanding of the Liquor License and all Health & Safety procedures.
- Excellent social interaction and communication skills.
- Proactive in approach with a self-driven attitude.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to inspire, guide, and manage a diverse team.
- Aware of current Food & Beverage trends.
