Security Officer

What you will do

• Ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, visitors, and hotel assets
• Monitor, maintain and proactively use the CCTV system and other security equipment
• Carry out regular security patrols of the hotel, apartments, and grounds
• Control access to the property, including managing contractors, visitors and staff searches when required
• Report, investigate and document incidents, liaising with police, fire authorities or other agencies where appropriate
• Conduct regular fire safety checks, building and escape route inspections, and assist in evacuation procedures
• Handle lost property efficiently and in line with company procedures

Who you are

• Hold a valid SIA Licence (essential)
• First Aid certified, with knowledge of fire alarm systems
• Proactive, reliable and self-driven with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English
• Able to work flexibly across a rota covering 24 hours, 7 days a week
