What you will do
- As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper you will help supporting the Housekeeping management team in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department
- Control labour costs; ensure that labour requirements are appropriate to the levels of business, that rotas are panned with sufficient flexibility to cope with variations in demand
- Assist in the control of Housekeeping operating stocks, and in the control of Hotel uniforms
- Ensure all hotel policies, procedures and health & safety standards are followed
- Support staffing coordination and daily operational planning
- Handle guest requests and minor complaints in a professional manner
- Monitor outsourced services (e. g. cleaning contractors) and report maintenance needs
- Contribute to consistent service quality and overall departmental efficiency
Who you are
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a 4/5 * property
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Polite, professional, friendly and confident in approach
- The Assistant Executive Housekeeper must be a good team player who is flexible, reliable and hard working.
You will work 5 days out of 7 and maybe required to cover the Evening shift.
- IT literate, comfortable working with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Opera and Triton to name but a few
- Ability to remain calm under pressure by being well organized, and able to juggle priorities comfortably.
