Looking for a role where you can be the welcoming face of an organisation that makes a real difference to the voluntary and community sector across Northern Ireland?

NICVA is the membership and representative body for the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland. We support organisations to do their best work and ensure the sector's voice is heard where it matters. We have recently launched an ambitious new five-year strategy focused on strengthening the sector's resilience, leadership, skills and sustainability in a changing political, economic and social environment.

As part of NICVA's Events and Facilities team, you will deliver a professional, high-quality reception service for NICVA staff, members and visitors to our Belfast offices. You will be the first point of contact for everyone who walks through our door or calls our switchboard, and the impression you make matters.

Working Wednesday to Friday, you will manage a busy reception desk, operate the telephone switchboard, greet and direct visitors, maintain accurate records and support a range of general administrative tasks. You will liaise with colleagues, tenants, contractors and service partners, keeping things running smoothly and responding to whatever the day brings.

The role would suit someone who is warm, organised and calm under pressure. You will bring experience of working in a reception, customer service or public-facing environment, handling telephone calls professionally and carrying out general administrative duties accurately. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable managing a varied workload across a busy working day.

Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 per annum pro rata (£14,523 – £14,751 actual), NICVA Grade A (NJC points 3–4). Candidates are normally appointed at the start of the scale.

Contract: Permanent, part-time. 20.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
