Samaritans of Belfast is always keen to hear from potential new listening volunteers who are able to give approximately 4-5 hours/week. At Belfast Samaritans, we are delighted to welcome potential volunteers interested in getting involved with the charity and giving back to the community. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people going through difficult times.

Using the skills gained through our training, you will be able to provide emotional support to those struggling with feelings of distress, despair, and suicidal thoughts. Through this support, we hope individuals will find a way forward.
