Job details:
• Salary: £33,124 per annum (pro-rata)
• Hours: 35 hours per week
• Contract: Fixed Term until 30th June 2024
• Holidays: 12 statutory days (pro rata) 20 Annual days (pro rata).
• Location: Belfast, Newtownabbey & Lisburn

MAIN TASK

Community Root Cause combines Bryson Charitable Group’s scale, skills and experience to target geographic areas with high levels of multiple deprivation to work with Community Family Workers, individuals and families to maximise their potential, and that of their surrounding environment. To lead and manage the delivery of high-quality programmes and services within identified community settings and provide a compliance function, which will ensure a high standard of interventions. Please note that some out of hours and weekend work may be required.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Effectively manage designated Team Leads to ensure development & equity of services across identified communities.
• Participate and positively contribute both strategically and operationally to set and achieve KPI’s.
• Ensure that Team Leads carry out all operational processes and procedures to a high standard.
• Assist with internal and strategic audit and risk processes.
• Effectively manage staff training needs.
• Provide effective leadership, monthly formal supervision and appraisal for Team Leads/ Community Area Managers.
• Fulfil all contractual monitoring and reporting requirements, collate, and analyse all data required.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Community Development, OR an equivalent relevant qualification, OR 3 years paid employment in a Community Development role.
• 5 GCSEs at grade C and above including English Language.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role.
• Experience of partnership and multi-agency/multi-disciplinary working.
• Clean driver’s licence, access to transport and Business (Class) Car Insurance for the vehicle and driver.
