Parkinson's UK Support Groups provide a lifeline to people affected by Parkinson's in their local area with group meetings, social events, activities, information, friendship and support. Our North Down and Ards Support Group is now looking for someone with a head for figures who can manage and record the group finances, produce financial reports for the group and act as a bank signatory.

If you have a head for figures you could help a new Parkinson's UK support group in North Down and Ards. We are appealing for a new volunteer to take on the role of Finance Contact to look after the day to day finance of the group. You would be taking on a central role within the group and volunteering as part of a team to support local people with Parkinson's.

The group meets monthly on the 3rd Monday of the month in Londonderry Park, Portaferry Road, Newtownards from 2.00pm - 4.00pm offering a safe space where anyone affected by the condition can enjoy time with other people and get vital information and support. The group also provides exercise classes, lunches and outings.
