Associate Intervention Worker - All Trust Areas
The Associate Intervention Worker will provide flexible, high-quality, person-centred support on an as and when required basis, across various programmes.
Working in a self-employed capacity, the post holder will deliver interventions, assessments, and support services to individuals and families affected by substance use, mental health issues, or related social challenges.
Requirements
- Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Youth Work, Community Work, Social Work or a relevant Health & Social Care discipline.
- Evidence of relevant training in mental health and/or substance misuse, for example: Mental Health First Aid, ASIST or Suicide First Aid.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working with substance misuse, mental health, vulnerable individuals or families.
- Experience working with children and young people, aged 11 – 24
- Ability to travel to service delivery locations / access to transport
- Recognised Qualifications in Substance Misuse or Mental Health
- Specialist Training Family Systemic Practice or Motivational Interviewing
