The role of Adult Education Coordinator is rewarding, enjoyable and busy! The post is responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of Conway Education Centre's adult education programme, ensuring that courses are accessible, well-organised and responsive to the needs of local and diverse communities. The role involves liaising with tutors, learners, education providers and community partners; supporting learner enrolment, attendance and providing information on progression routes, alternative education pathways; monitoring and evaluating provision; and contributing to the development of new courses and learning opportunities.
The Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring that adults who may face barriers to education - including people from disadvantaged communities and newcomers- are supported to access learning, develop their skills and achieve their educational goals. The post also contributes to programme administration, quality assurance, reporting and working closely with the Centre Manager and wider team.
The Adult Education Coordinator is a core post within Conway Education Centre and plays an important role in the delivery and development of our adult education provision. Current funding is secured until 31 March 2027. Continuation of the post beyond the expiry date is subject to the availability of appropriate funding.
