The Charles Hunt Centre is a vibrant community hub offering a café, activity spaces, events, and a community shop right in the heart of Hailsham. We’re looking for friendly, reliable Volunteer Receptionists to help us provide welcoming and accessible facilities for people over 55 and the wider community.
As a Volunteer Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors. You’ll offer a warm welcome, greet people as they arrive, direct them to activities, and answer incoming calls. You’ll handle enquiries in a professional, approachable way and help create the positive first impression that makes our Centre such a valued place.
We’re looking for someone who is sociable, enjoys meeting new people, and loves being part of a busy, community focused environment. No formal experience is needed — just a friendly manner and a willingness to get involved.
We currently need someone to provide Relief cover on our reception 9-1 Monday-Fridays when required. If you’d like to make a real difference in your community and enjoy working with people, we’d love to hear from you.
