The Town Clerk is the proper officer for the Council, responsible for the effective administration and lawful operation of Pocklington Town Council. The Town Council is responsible for a number of services including the operation of an Arts Centre. This is a pivotal leadership position supporting councillors, managing staff, and helping deliver local projects that make a difference in our community.
Pocklington is a vibrant market town situated 15 miles to the east of York. It has become a commuter town servicing York, Hull and Leeds. The town centre is a vibrant mix of independent shops. This is an exciting time for the Council as it will be working with a local charity to develop a community hub.
