This is a new role developed to support a recent structural review of the organisation. It is a great time to join Pocklington Arts Centre (a not-for-profit organisation) under the umbrella of Pocklington Town Council, as we look to redefine traditional roles and pursue ambitious growth.
The post holder will be a confident, well-organised self-starter motivated to review current practices and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
The role involves working alongside the Venue Manager and reporting to PAC’s Artistic Director to support our ongoing sustainability.
As a small and effective team, excellent communication and organisation skills are essential. This financial administrator role requires a mix of accounting knowledge and basic admin/data input skills. Each role manages all tasks independently; there is no junior admin position.
The position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract initially, with a review scheduled for January 2026 to define the role further, with plans to make it permanent from March 2026. The duties may be refined with the post-holder’s input.
Working days are likely to be Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Pocklington Arts Centre.
