Part Time Cleaner and Home Helper

Pay: £13.45 an hour plus holiday pay, paid together as £15.07 an hour
Hours: 8 or 16 hour contracts available

Ellia is a local housekeeping and home support service. We help people stay comfortable and independent at home, including people living with disability, reduced mobility, long term illness, mental illness, dementia and hoarding.
We are looking for a part time Cleaner and Home Helper to join our team. You will have your own regular clients, so you get to know them and they get to know you. Every visit is at least two hours, which gives you time to do the job well and have a chat too. A typical day is two clients with around half an hour between them.
What you will be doing
Proper cleaning: kitchens, bathrooms, floors, hoovering and dusting
Housekeeping such as laundry, changing beds and tidying
Helping clients declutter and get on top of things
Some gardening
Keeping clients company, at home and sometimes on trips out
What we are looking for
Someone kind, patient and reliable
Pride in cleaning a home properly
Happy working on your own in people's homes
A full driving licence and your own car
Willing to have a DBS check
The right to work in the UK
What you get
A contract with 8 or 16 guaranteed hours a week
Extra hours usually available if you want them
£13.45 an hour, with holiday pay added to every pay packet, so you receive £15.07 an hour
Mileage paid for travel between clients
The same clients each time, not a different house every day
