The aim of the Volunteer Fair 2025 is to offer volunteering opportunities to local people from the five boroughs connected to the park: Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark.

Crystal Palace Park Trust, the park’s custodian since 2023, is dedicated to its long-term maintenance and enhancement as a vibrant ecological, recreational, and historic resource.

The event features volunteering opportunities with various organizations listed below and within the park itself.

Event Highlights:

1. Fascinating 20-minute talks from The Crystal Palace Foundation, Friends of the Dinosaurs, and the Museum on topics including:

• The Great Exhibition and the Crystal Palace
• The birth of the Crystal Palace Dinos
• The 1854 Crystal Palace in Virtual Reality (VR)
• Music at the Crystal Palace
• The creatures in detail – then and now
• Colonial Histories of the Crystal Palace
• Crystal Palace stories and anecdotes
• The history of the Dinos in the park, 1853-present day

Crystal Palace Park Volunteer Fair on 14th June 2025, from 11 am to 3 pm at the Crystal Palace Bowl, SE19 2BA. Support local food banks by bringing non-perishable foods and personal hygiene products for donation.
