This is an exciting opportunity to play a key coordinating role within Carers Support West Sussex, supporting services that focus on specific caring roles, including mental health, dementia, learning disability, neurodiversity, and drug and alcohol.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams and support a team of Specialist Leads, ensuring services are high quality, well organized, and responsive to carers’ needs.
- Provide leadership, structure, and oversight in a fast-paced environment working closely with senior managers.
- Oversee the delivery of grant-funded projects, ensuring they are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered to a high standard.
- Collaborate with carers and partners to translate insights into meaningful, accessible support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience as a manager who can keep things organized, manage competing priorities, and help others deliver high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience working with unpaid carers and in service coordination or grant-funded program management is desirable.
- Appointment subject to an appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service check.
- Working arrangement
This is a hybrid role with a mix of working from home and attendance at countywide events and partnerships.
