Organisation: Community Mind Connect (CMC)

Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per month, including attendance at monthly board meetings and occasional sub‑committee meetings or events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of CMC's strategic plan, vision, and mission.
  • Governance: Ensure the organisation operates within its governing documents, legal requirements, and best practice guidelines.
  • Financial Oversight: Review and approve budgets and financial reports, ensuring responsible management of resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and review of organisational policies and procedures.
  • Board Meetings: Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings, contributing constructively to discussions and decision‑making.
  • Sub‑Committee Involvement: Potentially participate in sub‑committees focused on fundraising, marketing or programme development.
  • External Representation: Act as an ambassador for CMC, representing the organisation at external events and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
