Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Contribute to the development and implementation of CMC's strategic plan, vision, and mission.
- Governance: Ensure the organisation operates within its governing documents, legal requirements, and best practice guidelines.
- Financial Oversight: Review and approve budgets and financial reports, ensuring responsible management of resources.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the development and review of organisational policies and procedures.
- Board Meetings: Attend and actively participate in monthly board meetings, contributing constructively to discussions and decision‑making.
- Sub‑Committee Involvement: Potentially participate in sub‑committees focused on fundraising, marketing or programme development.
- External Representation: Act as an ambassador for CMC, representing the organisation at external events and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Fundraising Support: Support fundraising efforts, leveraging personal networks and expertise where appropriate.

Person Specification: The ideal candidate will possess the following:
