Salary: Youth Worker – £26,403 per annum pro rata (£13.54 per hour)
Salary: Senior Youth Worker – £30,654 per annum pro rata (£15.72 per hour)
Hours: various (term time only)

- Tadcaster (Spectrum Youth Club, Mondays 6.30–8.30pm – Senior Youth Worker, 4 hours/week)
- Norton, Malton (Tuesdays 6.30–8.30pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week)
- Risedale Youth Club (Tuesdays 6.30-8.30pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week)
- Knaresborough Youth Club (Tuesdays 7-9pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week)
- Stokesley (Wednesdays 6.30–8.30pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week)
- Kirkbymoorside (Thursdays 6.30–8.30pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week and Senior Youth Worker, 4 hours/week)
- Jennyfield’s, Harrogate (Thursdays 7–9pm – Youth Worker, 2.5 hours/week)
Our youth clubs provide safe, welcoming spaces where young people can build confidence, develop skills, make friends and access support. Spectrum Youth Club specifically supports young people aged 14–25 with additional needs and is delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers. The Senior Youth Worker will play a key role in supporting, coordinating and developing this volunteer team.
As a Youth Worker or Senior Youth Worker, you’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, build positive relationships with young people and create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Senior Youth Workers will also lead sessions, support volunteers, oversee safeguarding and help manage the day-to-day running of projects.
We’re looking for people who:
- Have experience working with young people
- Are committed to safeguarding and promoting young people’s welfare
- Can build positive relationships and deliver engaging activities
- Can work as part of a team and support others
- Hold, or are willing to work towards, a Level 2 Youth Work qualification
