We are recruiting a Services Support worker to help ensure the smooth running of Battle Scars services and operations. Reporting to the CEO, this role sits at the heart of our day‑to‑day delivery, supporting staff, volunteers and service users. The successful candidate will contribute directly to the quality, accessibility and reliability of our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide admin and reception support
- Handle enquiries and provide supporting, compassionate assistance
- Compile statistics and reports
- Support training and room bookings, including issuing invoices and receipts
- Assist with day‑to‑day building operations and events
- Create promotional materials
- Help organise ambassadorial activities
- Provide cover as a group facilitator
Essential Requirements
- Lived or living experience of self-harm
- Strong admin skills, including data entry and use of office systems
- Excellent written communication
- Excellent Excel skills required, confident with Outlook, Word and Canva
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage your own workload
- Person‑centred, compassionate, and able to work well with diverse people
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Available to work on Wednesdays
- DBS required (Battle Scars cover cost)
