Location: Hybrid / Leeds

Salary: £23,434 – £25,363 (Actual for 21hrs £20,660 to £21,818)

Hours: 21 hours per week (Weds / Thurs / Fri)

Our Carers Support Workers help carers to access the resources they need to carry out their caring role; to mitigate the negative impact of caring; to enjoy life beyond their caring role and to have good health and wellbeing, social connections and financial security.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and guidance via our Support Line
  • Offer 1:1 support for carers via webchat, phone, video, in the home or at local community venues
  • Facilitate carers support group/s
  • Supervise 1-2 volunteers
  • Lead on our 'Understanding Dementia' workshop for family carers
