REQUIREMENTS
- Community College Diploma in Social Services or University Degree in Social Sciences.
Related experience preferred.
Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated Commitment to Community Living
- Willing and able to participate in activities such as swimming, fitness, hiking, etc.
- Demonstrated Commitment to and experience in Person Centered Planning
- Experience & flexibility in different areas across the Association
- Commitment in involving people to become more involved in their communities
- Work within a larger team dynamic
- Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with Dual Diagnosis / Mental Health Disorders
- Demonstrated commitment in implementing communication strategies and following
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently as well as within a larger team dynamic
- Commitment to supporting individuals with their D. A. S and BSP’s
- Demonstrated experience in Core Competencies
- This requires the successful candidate to have a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
The successful candidate would have to provide proof that s/he has a valid driver’s license upon being hired.
