Supplemental Information
SUDPt HourlyRange:$21.00 – $27.56 Hourly ($43,680 – $57,324 annually) (Depending on experience and licensure)
SUDP Hourly Range:$24.00 – $35.00 Hourly ($49,920 – $72,800 annually) (Depending on experience and licensure)

Qualifications

Who should apply?

  • Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee Certification or Substance Use Disorder Professional Certification with Department of Health.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates degree in Social Services, counseling is preferred.
  • MAT experience preferred.
  • Positive, solutions oriented clinicians
  • Therapists skilled at engaging and motivating youth to achieve participation in services
  • Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations as needed
  • Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record

Some of what you will do:

  • Assess and identify the individual in services needs based on the severity of substance use diagnosis, stage of change, immediate needs, and recommend treatment objectives.
  • Will be on-call as needed.
  • Document participant progress to maintain a permanent activity record according to the agency\’s established methods and procedures.
  • Provide relapse prevention, harm reduction, and substance abuse counseling based on motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
  • Work effectively with the individual in services support system, education, and vocational training providers. Connect individual in services to self-help recovery groups.
  • Direct standards for toxicology screens
  • Provide case management services based on assessed needs. Services include support with wellness self-management, housing, income support, education, vocational training, social support, employment, primary care, etc.
  • Consistently evaluate services and expected outcomes.
  • Be an advocate and liaison for clients in securing emergency detox, rehabilitative care and other community supports that promote recovery.
