At Community Integrated Care, we’re on an ambitious journey of growth and transformation—and we’re looking for a dynamic People Specialist to play a key role in delivering our Support Services People Plan. This is more than a HR role. It’s an opportunity to partner with leaders, influence strategy on the ground, and drive meaningful outcomes that impact our colleagues and the people we support.

This is a full time permanent role with attendance at our head office in Widnes at least once a week with some national travel so our ideal candidate will be based within an hours commute of Widnes.

Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Working closely with the Head of People Support Services and Projects, you’ll be at the heart of your region—supporting leaders, driving recruitment, embedding culture, and delivering people-led change across multiple services.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the delivery of the Support Services People Plan, helping create a strong and attractive employee proposition.
  • Lead and support organisational change activity including TUPE, restructures, acquisitions and contract transitions.
  • Partner with Leaders — coaching, challenging and supporting them to deliver effective people strategies.
  • Drive recruitment and workforce planning, working closely with recruitment teams to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently.
  • Provide expert support on Employee Relations matters, ensuring consistency and best practice.
  • Deliver training to leaders to strengthen their capability and support their ongoing development.
  • Produce meaningful people data and insights to support decision-making and track progress.
  • Work collaboratively with People Services and wider teams to ensure a seamless HR service.

  • You’re a confident, credible HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys balancing operational delivery with strategic impact.

    • CIPD qualification (or working towards) with a commitment to CPD.
    • Proven experience in a multi-site People/HR role.
    • Strong experience in employee relations and organisational change.
    • Ability to work independently and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Experience of supporting recruitment and workforce planning.
    • Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
