Provide support to individuals to live independently in Widnes (multiple services).

Shifts: Day shifts 7:00 am - 10:00 pm, night shifts 9:00 pm - 8:00 am, Monday-Sunday. Bank work does not guarantee hours each week; supports service during annual leave or sickness.

Your Role

As a Bank Support Worker, you are a reassuring presence, supporting each person's individual needs and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. You will support with personal care, medication administration and all activities of daily living, including going out for lunch, taking walks, shopping, cooking and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Administer medication safely under guidance
  • Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning
  • Support individuals in their daily routines, such as cooking, shopping and leisure
  • Recognise and respond to wellbeing needs, and make you part of the team
  • Act as a positive influence, encouraging choice and independence
  • Maintain accurate records and report incidents as required
