Role Summary
We are recruiting Bank/Casual Support Workers to provide 24‑hour support for six individuals living in newly‑constructed bungalows in Tullibody. The role involves assisting with daily personal care, medication, cooking, household maintenance and finances while fostering independence and well‑being.
Key Responsibilities
- Work 24‑hour shifts covering 8 am–8 pm or 8 pm–8 am, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Administer medication accurately and record usage.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with food‑related tasks.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and mobility support.
- Maintain the bungalow, including cleaning and basic repairs, and manage residents’ financial matters.
- Promote social participation and activities tailored to each resident’s interests.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a complex care carer or support worker, working with people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues or sensory impairments is desirable.
- Reliable, honest and respectful, with a willingness to build trust and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of safe handling of medication, food safety and basic home‑management skills.
- Optionally a UK driving licence or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine passion for improving lives.
